Bob, the pipelines are already there and they are not going away. They have been in place since WWII to assure a crude oil supply to Canada. Portland, Maine is also the busiest port on the East Coast for crude oil. Maine has no refineries and none have been proposed. Did you have any damage from Sandy?

Incorrect Bob, the two lines already flow one way from South Portland, Maine to the Montreal area. It is not a NIMBY case at all.
